Sales and Marketing Specialist (Remote)

• We are looking for a confident and commercially minded Sales & Marketing Executive to join us on a one-month contract, primarily to support an upcoming three-day business exhibition and related sales activities.
• The successful candidate will work with our team remotely before the event to learn our business, services, ideal clients, portfolio and sales process. You will then represent Bave physically at the exhibition in Victoria Island, Lagos, engaging potential clients and generating qualified business opportunities.

The Role
Your primary goal is simple:

• Turn the right conversations into qualified leads and booked consultations.
• We are not looking for someone to simply distribute flyers or collect phone numbers.
• You should be able to approach business owners and decision-makers confidently, understand their businesses, identify genuine needs, explain how Bave may be able to help, and guide qualified prospects towards booking a free consultation with our team.

Key Responsibilties

• Learn Bave's services, packages, portfolio, target clients and sales process.
• Represent Bave professionally during the three-day exhibition in Victoria Island.
• Proactively engage business owners, founders and decision-makers.
• Ask relevant questions to understand each prospect's business and digital needs.
• Identify and qualify potential clients for our web design, e-commerce and related digital services.
• Clearly communicate Bave's services and value proposition.
• Convert qualified conversations into booked consultations.
• Accurately capture prospect information and important notes.
• Follow up with leads after the exhibition through approved communication channels.
• Maintain an organised record of leads, follow-ups and outcomes.
• Support other short-term sales and marketing activities during the one-month contract.
• Work closely with the Bave team to ensure promising opportunities are properly handed over and followed through.

How Success will be measured

• Your performance will primarily be assessed by the quality of leads generated, consultations booked, consultation attendance, quality and consistency of follow-up, lead progression and your overall representation of Bave Design Studio.

You should have

• Previous experience in sales, business development, client acquisition or a similar commercial role.
• Experience selling to business owners, founders or other decision-makers.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence approaching and starting conversations with people you have never met.
• The ability to listen, ask good questions and identify business needs before recommending a solution.
• Strong follow-up and organisational skills.
• The ability to learn new services and concepts quickly.
• Professional presentation and conduct.
• Experience selling B2B services, websites, technology, SaaS, professional services, branding, e-commerce or digital solutions will be an advantage.
• Previous experience representing a company at exhibitions, conferences, networking events or trade shows will also be an advantage.

Contract and location:

• This is initially a one-month contract position.
• Most preparation and onboarding will be done remotely.
• However, you must be physically available in Lagos to work with our team during the three-day exhibition in Victoria Island.

The contract will cover:

• Pre-event onboarding and sales preparation
• Three-day physical exhibition support
• Lead qualification and consultation booking
• Post-event prospect follow-up
• Additional agreed sales and marketing support during the contract period
• Strong performance may lead to future contract opportunities or consideration for a longer-term role.
