Area Sales & Marketing Lead

About the Job

• We are seeking a commercially astute and highly motivated Area Sales & Marketing Lead – Lagos 1, Lagos mainland & Abeokuta to lead our sales operations, expand market penetration and build a high-performing sales network across Lagos mainland and Abeokuta.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive territory sales growth and consistently achieve assigned sales targets.
• Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Identify, onboard and activate new retail outlets, distributors and business partners.
• Recruit, coordinate, supervise and drive the productivity of Community Sales Representatives (CSRs).
• Expand product distribution, visibility and availability across assigned markets.
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback.
• Develop territory action plans and ensure effective execution of sales initiatives.
• Track sales results, outlet acquisition, CSR productivity and market penetration.
• Prepare timely performance reports, identify gaps and implement corrective measures.
• Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers and other key trade partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant sales and marketing experience, preferably in FMCG, food distribution or consumer goods.
• Demonstrable experience in territory sales management, distribution development and field sales team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of the Lagos and Abeokuta markets and their commercial networks.
• Proven ability to deliver sales targets, grow distribution and manage a results-oriented team.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical and relationship-management skills.
• High levels of integrity, accountability, initiative and commercial awareness.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

• We offer a competitive gross monthly salary of N650,000 – N1,000,000, depending on experience, demonstrated sales capability, and ability to achieve agreed sales targets.
