Experienced Hotel Laundry Personnel

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Personnel to join our hotel team.
• The Laundry Personnel is responsible for washing, drying, ironing, folding, and organizing hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and care.
• The role ensures that all laundry items are processed efficiently and made available to hotel departments in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, and ironing machines.
• Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or wear and report issues to the supervisor.
• Apply appropriate cleaning methods and detergents based on fabric type and care instructions.
• Ensure all guest laundry is handled with care, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report shortages.
• Follow hotel health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Assist in distributing clean linens and uniforms to relevant departments.
• Respond promptly to laundry requests from guests and hotel departments.

Requirements

• Minimum of a secondary school certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or hotel environment is an advantage.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift laundry loads when required.
• Strong commitment to cleanliness and quality service.
