Experienced Hotel Cook

Job Title: Hotel Cook Location: [Ojodu berger ,Lagos State.] Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hotel Cook to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for hotel guests while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and presentation standards. The Hotel Cook will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to hotel recipes and standards. Assist in menu preparation and daily food production. Ensure food is prepared, stored, and served in compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation before serving. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment. Check inventory levels and report shortages to the Kitchen Supervisor or Chef. Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently. Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Follow all hotel policies and procedures. Requirements Proven experience as a Cook, Hotel Cook, or similar culinary role. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Culinary certification or relevant training is an advantage.
