Personal Driver / Private Chauffeur

Role Description

• We are seeking a reliable, professional and punctual Personal Driver to provide safe, comfortable, and efficient transportation for an individual / family / company executive.
• The ideal candidate has an immaculate driving record, strong knowledge of local traffic patterns and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high standards of service.
• The Personal Driver will provide dedicated, safe and courteous transportation services for the employer and designated family members or guests.
• This position requires high reliability, flexibility with daily schedules, attention to vehicle upkeep, and complete respect for personal privacy.

Key Responsibilities

• ​​Passenger Transport: Drive the employer, family members or guests to workplaces, social events, personal appointments, errands and airports.
• ​Family Support: Assist with routine household transport tasks, such as running errands, pick-ups/drop-offs for family members and delivering packages or sensitive documents.
• ​Vehicle Care & Upkeep: Keep the vehicle clean inside and out. Perform daily pre-trip checks for fuel/charge levels, fluid levels, tire pressure and schedule regular maintenance or repairs.
• ​Route Planning & Punctuality: Monitor traffic and weather conditions to select efficient routes and ensure on-time arrivals for all appointments.
• ​Luggage & Cargo: Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, shopping bags or personal belongings.
• Errands & Support: Assist with personal errands, such as collecting mail, picking up dry cleaning, purchasing groceries or delivering packages.
• ​Passenger Assistance: Open doors, carry luggage/bags and assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
• ​​Discretion: Maintain strict privacy and confidentiality concerning family, household and business matters observed during duty.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logbook for mileage, fuel, maintenance and renewals for insurance, roadworthiness etc.

Qualifications

• License: Valid Driver's License (Commercial/Chauffeur's license is a plus).
• Education: Minimum SSCE, additional driving certification is an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional driving or executive chauffeur experience.
• Driving Record: Clean driving record (zero recent major traffic violations or DUIs), no criminal history.
• Knowledge: Expert knowledge of Lagos roads, highways, alternative routes and traffic regulations. Well-groomed, polite, punctual and trustworthy.
• Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Availability: Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Skills:

• Defensive driving, discretion, time management, good communication and basic vehicle maintenance.

Location:

• Must be able to easily commute work (live around Lekki axis).

Salary
N150,000 - N170,000 monthly.
