Sales Executive Trainee - Retail Banking

Job Description

• We are seeking motivated, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Sales Executive Trainees – Retail Banking.
• The successful candidates will undergo structured training and practical field exposure to develop the skills required to drive customer acquisition, promote banking products and services, and achieve assigned sales targets.
• The role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about sales, enjoy interacting with people, and are interested in building a career in the banking and financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers through direct sales, referrals, networking, and field marketing activities.
• Promote and sell the bank's retail products and services, including savings accounts, current accounts, loans, cards, digital banking solutions, and other approved financial products.
• Generate quality leads and convert prospects into active customers.
• Educate prospective and existing customers on the features, benefits, and requirements of banking products.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage retention and referrals.
• Conduct market visits and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
• Meet and consistently work towards assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Support account opening and customer onboarding processes in line with the bank's procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation and submission of customer information and applications.
• Follow up with prospective customers and provide timely updates throughout the acquisition process.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, leads, and conversions.
• Participate actively in product, sales, compliance, and customer-service training.
• Adhere strictly to the bank's policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
• Escalate customer complaints and operational issues through the appropriate channels.
• Provide regular sales activity and performance reports to the supervisor or team lead.
• Perform other sales-related duties as assigned.
