Role Purpose

• To provide high-quality culinary service within a client household — planning and preparing meals, managing kitchen hygiene and provisioning, and adapting to the household's dietary needs and lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily meals to the household's preferences and dietary requirements
• Develop weekly menus and manage grocery provisioning and budgeting
• Maintain impeccable kitchen hygiene, food safety, and storage standards
• Manage dietary restrictions and allergens (e.g. vegan, halal, gluten-free)
• Prepare and present meals for family dining and guest entertaining. Baking skills is an advantage.
• Coordinate meal scheduling with the household and communicate professionally on preferences
• At senior levels, supervise junior kitchen staff and manage formal dinner service

Requirements & Experience

• SSCE minimum; culinary diploma or professional training an advantage
• Proven experience cooking Nigerian, continental, and at least one international cuisine
• Food safety and hygiene awareness; relevant certification an advantage
• Fluent English; ability to follow and develop menus
• Clean health record and food-handler medical clearance

Role-Specific Must-Haves:

• Demonstrable cooking ability assessed at sourcing — candidates arrive with the skill
• Willingness to complete required food-handler vaccinations (Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid)

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
