Hotel Receptionist

Job Summary

• We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Hotel Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling check-ins and check-outs, answering inquiries, and ensuring an excellent guest experience throughout their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
• Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
• Answer telephone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly.
• Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
• Process payments and maintain accurate billing records.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve complaints professionally.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate guest records and reservation information.
• Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and presentable.
• Follow hotel policies, procedures, and security standards.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years experience.
• Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk officer, or customer service representative is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with reservation systems.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
