About the Role

B A Gladiators is recruiting on behalf of its client, a home décor and interior furnishing business, for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, providing excellent customer service, maintaining product displays and stock records, managing online enquiries, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the purchasing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to customers professionally, understand their needs and recommend suitable products based on their preferences and budgets.
  

• Promote and sell home décor and interior furnishing products to walk-in and prospective customers.
  
• Generate leads, follow up on enquiries and quotations, convert prospects into customers, and work towards assigned sales targets.
  

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, pricing, quality, availability and care requirements.
  

• Maintain a clean, organized and attractive store environment.
  
• Ensure products are properly arranged, displayed and labelled, and assist with promotional displays and product presentations.
  

• Monitor stock levels, assist with receiving and arranging products, and participate in stock counts.
  

• Process sales accurately, document payments and issue receipts in line with company procedures.
  
• Maintain records of sales, customer enquiries, orders and stock movements, and submit periodic sales reports.
  

• Respond promptly to enquiries received through social media, messaging platforms and other digital channels.
  
• Share product information, follow up on prospective customers and support the conversion of online enquiries into sales.
  

• Update customers on order status, follow up on satisfaction and escalate complaints, returns or product issues appropriately.
  

• Maintain professional conduct, honesty and accountability when dealing with customers and company resources.
  

Ideal Candidate

They must possess strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, with the ability to generate leads, convert enquiries into sales, build client relationships, and demonstrate an interest in interior styling and home aesthetics.

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC; a diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is an advantage.
  
• Previous experience in sales, retail or customer service is an advantage.
  
• Good communication, interpersonal, customer service skills.
  
• Basic computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate sales records.
  
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
