• Chelis Group is seeking a highly creative, tech-savvy, solution-driven, and organised IT & Digital Operations Assistant to join our growing team at our Head Office in Surulere, Lagos.
• The successful candidate will provide day-to-day technical, digital, and operational support across the organisation. The role will assist the Head of IT with routine IT support, website updates, digital content, staff technical assistance, equipment setup, and basic system administration.
• The position is designed to ensure that routine technical and digital tasks are handled promptly, professionally, and efficiently, while more complex issues are appropriately escalated to the Head of IT.

Key Responsibilities
The IT & Digital Operations Assistant will be responsible for:

• Providing first-level technical support to staff across the organisation.
• Troubleshooting basic Windows, computer, printer, and peripheral issues.
• Setting up and configuring computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Supporting staff with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
• Assisting with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
• Supporting routine website updates and basic WordPress maintenance.
• Creating and editing digital content using Canva and other relevant tools.
• Supporting the organisation's social media and digital platforms.
• Assisting with basic graphic design and digital communication activities.
• Using AI tools to improve productivity, content creation, research, and routine work processes.
• Maintaining proper documentation of IT issues, resolutions, equipment, and support requests.
• Assisting with basic system administration and user support.
• Following up on outstanding technical requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Escalating complex technical issues to the Head of IT when necessary.
• Supporting other IT and digital operations as assigned by the Head of IT.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Degree, HND, or OND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Relevant practical experience in IT support, digital operations, or a similar role will be an advantage.
• Candidates with strong practical IT and digital skills may be considered based on demonstrated competence.
• Must have good working knowledge of computers, digital tools, and basic IT troubleshooting.
• Must reside within close proximity to Bode Thomas Road, Surulere, Lagos.
• Must be willing to work on alternate Saturdays.
• Must demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be organised, dependable, professional, and trustworthy.
• Must be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and digital tools.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining proper communication and follow-up with the Head of IT.

Required Technical Skills
Candidates should have working knowledge of:

• Windows troubleshooting
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Google Workspace
• Basic networking
• Computer hardware
• Printers and peripherals
• WordPress
• Canva
• Social media platforms
• Basic graphic design
• Basic website maintenance
• AI tools for productivity and content creation.

Nice-to-Have Skills
Knowledge or experience in any of the following will be an added advantage:

• CorelDRAW
• Adobe Photoshop
• Basic HTML/CSS
• Basic SEO
• Basic video editing
• Domain and hosting platforms
• Website administration and maintenance.

• The successful candidate should also have a genuine interest in technology, digital tools, websites, content creation, and improving workplace efficiency through technology.

Salary
N150,000 - N170,000 monthly.
