Social Media Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AVIX Mobile Devices’ social media strategy across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp and other relevant platforms.
• Create and publish engaging content including product posts, videos, reels, stories, promotional campaigns and educational content.
• Develop creative campaigns to promote AVIX mobile devices, accessories, offers and new product launches.
• Take or coordinate quality product photography and video content.
• Manage the company's social media pages and ensure regular and consistent posting.
• Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages and customer enquiries.
• Generate leads and support sales through social media platforms.
• Monitor competitors, industry trends and customer behaviour to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to promote products and campaigns.
• Develop monthly content calendars and campaign plans.
• Track social media performance, including followers, reach, engagement, leads and conversions.
• Prepare regular social media performance reports and recommend strategies for improvement.
• Manage paid social media advertising campaigns when required.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice, image and messaging across all platforms.
• Stay updated on social media algorithms, trends, tools and best practices.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The Social Media Manager will be assessed based on measurable results, including:

• Growth in followers and online community.
• Engagement rate and audience interaction.
• Reach and impressions.
• Quality and consistency of content.
• Number of leads generated through social media.
• Social media-driven enquiries and sales conversions.
• Performance of promotional campaigns.
• Website/WhatsApp traffic generated from social media.
• Overall improvement in AVIX Mobile Devices' online brand visibility.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree, HND or OND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management or Content Creation will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation or a related role.
• Experience managing business or corporate social media accounts.
• Experience in the mobile phone, electronics, technology, retail or FMCG industry is an added advantage.
• Demonstrable experience growing social media pages and increasing engagement.
• Experience generating leads or sales through social media will be highly advantageous.
• Candidates should provide a portfolio or examples of social media accounts/content they have managed.

Required Skills:

• Strong social media management skills.
• Excellent content creation and storytelling abilities.
• Good knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp Business and other social platforms.
• Strong communication and copywriting skills.
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop or similar tools.
• Basic video editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar applications.
• Understanding of social media advertising and digital marketing.
• Ability to analyse social media insights and performance metrics.
• Strong customer engagement and relationship-building skills.
• Creativity and ability to develop fresh content ideas.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of sales-focused social media marketing.

Other Requirements:

• Must be creative, proactive and highly self-motivated.
• Must have a strong interest in mobile technology and consumer electronics.
• Must be comfortable appearing in or coordinating video content where required.
• Must be willing to learn and adapt to new social media trends.
• Must have a smartphone capable of creating quality photo/video content.
• Ability to work outside normal office hours when required for campaigns, product launches or special events. must be a resident of lagos.
• Must demonstrate professionalism when communicating with customers online.
• A strong portfolio of previous social media work is required.
• Must be results-oriented, with a clear understanding that the role is focused on brand growth, customer engagement and sales conversion, not just posting content.

Remuneration

• Competitive salary (N100,000 - N150,000 monthly) based on qualifications and experience.
