Job Summary
- We are seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media & Digital Marketing Officer to manage the company’s online presence, create engaging content, grow social media platforms, and support digital marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness, engagement, leads, and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Create, edit, and publish engaging content including graphics, photos, videos, reels, captions, and stories.
- Develop monthly content calendars and ensure consistent posting.
- Manage the company’s social media pages and respond appropriately to comments and messages.
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
- Conduct audience, competitor, and market research to identify content and marketing opportunities.
- Monitor social media trends and develop relevant content around trending topics.
- Track social media performance using insights and analytics and prepare regular reports.
- Support paid advertising campaigns, including Meta Ads and other digital advertising platforms.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to convert online engagement into business opportunities.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital platforms.
Performance Expectations
- The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate measurable improvement insocial media engagement, audience growth, content quality, brand visibility, website/WhatsApp traffic, lead generation, and digital campaign performance.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Media Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing principles.
- Proven ability to create engaging social media content.
- Basic knowledge of social media advertising and campaign management.
- Ability to use social media analytics and insights to measure performance.
- Good understanding of current digital and social media trends.
- A portfolio of previous content or social media work is an added advantage.
