Job Summary
- We are seeking a competent mid-level E&I professional with proven hands-on experience with Emerson products and solutions to support our Emerson-related projects, products and field activities.
Job Responsibilitie
- Oversee and provide technical support for Fortis Engineering's Emerson- related projects, products and field activities.
- Support installation, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning and servicing of Emerson instrumentation and control systems.
- Provide technical and field support to clients on Emerson-related equipment and solutions.
- Assist with technical documentation, reporting and coordination of Emerson-related activities.
Qualifications
- B.Sc./B.Eng., HND in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Must have 7-10 years of relevant E&I/Instrumentation & Control experience, with demonstrated hands-on Emerson experience.
- Emerson DeltaV training/certification - optional, but an added advantage.
- CompEx or IECEx certification - optional, but an added advantage.
- Experience with Emerson technologies/products such as DeltaV,
- Rosemount, Fisher, Micro Motion or related Emerson solutions will be highly relevant.
Ideal candidates should have:
- Good knowledge of Instrumentation & Control systems.
- Practical, hands-on experience with Emerson products and solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, commission and provide technical support.
- Good understanding of industrial automation and process control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret instrumentation/control drawings and technical documentation.
- Good field service and customer-support capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and interact professionally with clients.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
