Electrician

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, power distribution systems, motors, generators, switchboards, control panels, and other electrical equipment. Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify faults, hazards, or maintenance requirements. Troubleshoot electrical failures and perform corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals. Install and terminate electrical cables, conduits, cable trays, switches, outlets, and protective devices. Test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate testing instruments such as multimeters, insulation resistance testers, and clamp meters. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules. Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable electrical codes, engineering standards, and project specifications. Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of new electrical equipment and systems. Maintain records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Report defective equipment, material shortages, and safety concerns to the Electrical Supervisor. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
