Cash Operations Officer

Job Summary
- The Cash Operations Officer is responsible for managing and monitoring cash-related transactions and ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant cash operations within the branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage cash receipts, payments, transfers, and daily cash operations.
- Monitor branch cash levels and ensure adequate cash availability.
- Verify and process cash transactions in line with approved procedures.
- Reconcile cash balances and investigate discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling, KYC, AML, fraud prevention, and internal control requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all cash transactions.
- Monitor cash movements and coordinate cash transfers in line with established procedures.
- Identify and report suspicious or irregular transactions.
- Support branch operations and provide timely assistance on cash-related enquiries.
Requirements
- HND/Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit/Second Class Lower.
- Experience in cash operations, banking operations, teller services, or a related role is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, reconciliation, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and adhere to strict operational controls.
- NYSC completion/exemption certificate, compulsory
- Age limit is 29 years or below
- Proximity to job location
Salary and Benefits
- N200,000 / Month
- HMO, 13th Month and Leave allowance
