Social Media / Content Creator

Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality, visually appealing content, including photos and videos of food, drinks, and the restaurant's atmosphere.
- Write compelling captions, blog posts, and website content that reflect the restaurant's brand voice. This includes sharing stories about the chefs, the inspiration behind dishes, and special events.
- Create content tailored for different platforms, such as short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels, high-quality images for Facebook, and engaging stories for Instagram.
- Develop and execute a social media strategy that aligns with the restaurant's marketing goals. This involves creating a content calendar, scheduling posts, and planning campaigns for new menu items or holidays.
- Responding to customer comments, answering direct messages, and managing online reviews on platforms like Google etc.
- Identify and work with local food bloggers, influencers, and media to generate positive reviews and expand the restaurant's reach.
- Design and launch social media campaigns, contests, and giveaways to increase engagement and attract new customers.
- Track key metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, reach, and website traffic.
- Analyze data to understand what content performs best, allowing them to refine their strategy and improve future campaigns.
- Provide regular reports to management on the performance of your social media efforts.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activities to ensure the restaurant remains relevant and competitive online.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification must be BSc. Degree
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a Professional Content Creator / Social Media Officer.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of content – including high-quality food photos, videos, and compelling captions.
- Proficiency in photography, videography, and graphic design as well as familiarity with editing software e.g. Adobe creative suite, Canva etc.
- A deep understanding of popular platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with followers, respond to comments, and manage online communities.
- Ability to stay up to date with the latest social media trends and adapt quickly to capitalize on them.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics to track engagement, reach, and other key metrics.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
