Job Description
- We are seeking to recruit a competent, detail-oriented, and experienced Account Officer to join our client team in the hospitality sector.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in records, and supporting effective financial decision-making within the organisation.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring proper documentation of all transactions
- Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
- Handling accounts receivable and payable functions
- Reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flow
- Ensuring timely posting and processing of financial entries
- Assisting in budget preparation and expense tracking
- Ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and procedures
- Supporting audits and providing necessary financial documentation when required
- Monitoring and reporting discrepancies in financial records
- Performing other accounting duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2–4 years proven experience in an accounting or finance role
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is an added advantage.
