Job Summary
- A restaurant manager keeps daily operations running smoothly, managing both customer areas and back-of-house staff.
Responsibilities
Daily Operations:
- Overseeing front-of-house (greeting guests, handling complaints) and back-of-house (kitchen workflow and cleanliness).
- Monitoring food quality, service speed, and table turnover during busy shifts.
- Managing reservations and seating arrangements.
Staff Management:
- Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
- Creating weekly work schedules to balance labor costs with peak business hours.
- Resolving employee conflicts and reviewing staff performance.
Financial and Inventory Control:
- Tracking daily sales, managing payroll data, and maintaining the operating budget.
- Monitoring stock levels, ordering food and supplies, and reducing waste.
- Negotiating prices and delivery schedules with vendors and suppliers.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforcing strict health, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
- Ensuring compliance with local labor and employment laws.
- Scheduling routine equipment maintenance and repairs
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelors Degree / HND with 7-9 years of experience.
