Job Title: Hotel Cook Location: [Ojodu Berger] Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Hotel Cook to prepare high-quality meals for hotel guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation. The successful candidate will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and excellent dining experiences for guests. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present meals according to hotel recipes and quality standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and served at the correct temperature. Assist in menu preparation and daily food production planning. Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to the Kitchen Supervisor or Chef. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times. Properly store and label food items to prevent waste and contamination. Inspect ingredients and food products to ensure freshness and quality. Assist with receiving and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries. Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Support special events, banquets, and catering services when required. Requirements Previous experience as a Cook, Chef, or similar role in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Culinary training or certification is an added advantage.
