About the Role
- We are looking to hire a hands-on Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations.
- This role suits someone early in their accounting career who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile daily sales and revenue
- Handle basic bookkeeping — recording income, expenses, and receipts
- Reconcile sales reports with bank deposits and financial records
- Track and support cost management in coordination with operations/inventory records
- Prepare simple financial reports (daily, weekly, monthly summaries)
- Process invoices, supplier payments, and other business payments
- Assist with basic tax filing and statutory remittances
- Maintain organized financial records and support external accountants/auditors when needed
- Flag discrepancies or unusual patterns in financial data
Requirements
- HND / B.Sc Degreein Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience (experience in hospitality or a similar service-based business is an advantage but not compulsory)
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, reconciliation, bookkeeping)
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work with non-finance staff.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
