Digital Marketing Executive

About the Role

• This role requires a proactive digital professional who can manage multiple client campaigns, strengthen the agency’s digital presence, and contribute to strategic ideation within the team.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management:

• Develop frameworks for managing and delivering client social media needs.
• Execute and monitor social media campaigns across all relevant platforms.
• Track KPIs and performance metrics to ensure campaign success.
• Conduct competitive and comparative industry analysis for clients and the agency.
• Create and manage content calendars for the agency’s social media accounts.
• Drive weekly growth and engagement across all organizational platforms.
• Develop generic content that enhances visibility and engagement for the agency.

Media Strategy & Buying:

• Develop effective paid media strategies based on client briefs.
• Formulate project plans for all paid media campaigns.
• Execute media buying and deployment across appropriate digital channels.

Project Management & Quality Control:

• Prepare campaign budgets and job bags aligned with agency cost margins.
• Participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions.
• Deliver accurate, error-free Proofs of Execution (POE) and Proofs of Cost (POC).

Project Reporting:

• Facilitate campaign debriefs and ensure learnings are documented.
• Collate and share all relevant data with internal and external clients.

Business Development:

• Provide distinctive media buying strategies to grow existing accounts.
• Identify marketplace opportunities and engage prospective clients.
• Develop strategic, winning ideas for pitch presentations.
• Actively contribute to team brainstorming sessions.

Financial Management:

• Ensure strict adherence to campaign budgets and profitability targets.
• Monitor billings and profitability with Account Managers.
• Maintain a minimum profit margin benchmark of 36% on paid media campaigns.

Client Management:

• Deliver exceptional client service and maintain daily communication with key contacts.
• Strengthen client relationships and manage expectations across all campaigns.
• Ensure 24-hour turnaround on post-meeting deliverables.
• Support expansion opportunities within existing client accounts.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Competitive, profit-driven media buying for all campaigns.
• Effective supervision of paid media and social media activities for assigned accounts and the agency.
• 100% flawless execution on all campaigns.
• Minimum 36% profit margin on paid media campaigns.
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual growth of the agency’s social media accounts.
• Social media amplification of executed projects within 48 hours of completion.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:

• B.Sc. Degree / HND qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Certification in Digital Marketing (mandatory).
• Additional marketing communications certifications are an added advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar digital marketing role.
