Summary

• They are seeking a hardworking, organised and detail-oriented Laundry Officer to join its team.
• The successful candidate will ensure that hotel linens, towels, uniforms and guests’ clothing are cleaned, properly handled and delivered promptly.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold and arrange hotel linens, towels and uniforms.
• Process guests’ laundry carefully and within the required timeframe.
• Identify stains and apply suitable cleaning methods without damaging fabrics.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, irons and other laundry equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laundry area.
• Monitor detergents and other laundry supplies and report low stock promptly.
• Inspect items for stains, damage or missing pieces before and after washing.
• Report faulty equipment and maintenance issues immediately.
• Follow the hotel’s hygiene, safety and chemical-handling procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel laundry or a similar role is an advantage.
• Knowledge of washing, ironing and fabric-care procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Good personal hygiene, honesty and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle guests’ belongings responsibly.
• Physical fitness and willingness to perform laundry duties.
• Good time-management and communication skills.
