Job Description

• We are seeking a highly organised, responsible, and proactive Admin Officer to support the smooth and efficient running of our school. The ideal candidate should be able to manage administrative duties effectively, maintain accurate records, communicate professionally with parents and staff, and provide reliable administrative support to the school management.
• The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that the school's daily administrative operations run smoothly while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for students, parents, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the school's day-to-day administrative activities.
• Maintain accurate records of students, staff, attendance, fees, correspondence, and other school documents.
• Handle enquiries and communicate professionally with parents, guardians, students, and staff.
• Receive and respond to phone calls, emails, messages, and other official correspondence.
• Prepare letters, reports, notices, memos, meeting minutes, and other school documents.
• Assist with student admissions, registration, transfers, and other administrative processes.
• Maintain and update student and staff databases and physical records.
• Support the school management and teachers with administrative tasks and coordination.
• Assist in organising school events, meetings, examinations, and other academic activities.
• Monitor office supplies and ensure necessary administrative materials are available.
• Help maintain a well-organised, professional, and welcoming school office.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling students' personal information, staff records, and other sensitive school documents.
• Perform other administrative duties assigned by the school management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc./B.A./HND in Business Administration, Public Administration, Education, Office Technology and Management, or a related field.
• Previous administrative experience in a school or educational environment is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational, record-keeping, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant office applications.
• Ability to communicate professionally with parents, staff, students, and visitors.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility.
