Waterpark Coordinator

Summary
- The Waterpark Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day coordination and safe operation of the waterpark facility, ensuring an enjoyable, organised, and secure experience for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily operations of the waterpark.
- Supervise lifeguards, attendants, cleaners, ticketing employees, and other operational personnel.
- Ensure all water attractions, pools, changing rooms, and guest areas are properly maintained.
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor guest movement, capacity, ticketing, and crowd control.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and customer complaints.
- Work with maintenance teams to ensure equipment and facilities remain functional.
- Maintain incident, inspection, maintenance, and operational records.
- Support the planning of waterpark events, promotions, group visits, and special activities.
- Ensure employees receive proper safety, emergency-response, and customer-service training.
Requirements
- Diploma, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Recreation Management, Sports Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a waterpark, amusement park, resort, swimming facility, recreation centre, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of facility safety, crowd management, and guest services.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- First-aid, CPR, lifeguard, or water-safety certification will be an added advantage.
- Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts.
- Experience in 4 star /5 star Hospitality industry is compulsory
- Candidates must be professional, responsible, and customer-focused.
- Applicants should demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Relevant experience in 4 - 5 star hospitality, retail, leisure, or mixed-use commercial facilities is compulsory.
- Candidates must be willing to work in Abuja.
