Inventory / Procurement Officer

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory/Procurement Officer to manage inventory levels, coordinate procurement activities, and ensure the timely availability of required supplies and materials in the Pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Identify replenishment needs and prepare purchase requests/orders.
- Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- Receive, inspect, and document incoming goods.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation for purchases, deliveries, and stock movements.
- Work closely with relevant departments to forecast inventory and procurement needs.
Requirements
- HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in inventory management or procurement, in a pharmacy is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of inventory control and procurement processes.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory/procurement tools.
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
