Front Desk Officer

Job Description

  • We are seeking a professional, courteous, and customer-focused Front Desk Officer to serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and business partners.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front office, providing administrative support, handling enquiries, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient reception environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and attend to clients, visitors, and guests in a professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
  • Maintain the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute correspondence, documents, and deliveries.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and coordinate visitor appointments.
  • Provide administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Maintain accurate visitor and courier records.
  • Assist with office supplies inventory and report replenishment needs.
  • Support HR and Administration with assigned administrative tasks.
  • Handle customer enquiries and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration, Mass Communication, Public Administration, Office Technology and Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant administrative or customer service certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, customer service, or administrative role.
  • Experience in the real estate industry is an added advantage but not mandatory.
  • Experience using office equipment and Microsoft Office applications is required.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Basic administrative and record-keeping skills.
  • Must possess excellent communication and customer relationship skills.
  • Must be well-organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Must reside in Abuja or be willing to relocate.
  • Friendly, approachable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

Remuneration

  • Salary: N100,000 per month.
  • Performance-based incentives where applicable.
