Human Resources Professional - Construction Industry

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition for corporate, technical and project-based roles
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and people-management systems
• Drive performance management, KPIs, appraisals and employee development
• Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes and workplace issues professionally
• Ensure accurate personnel records, HR documentation and statutory compliance
• Partner with management on workforce planning, organizational structure and manpower requirements
• Support compensation, benefits, payroll coordination and employee welfare
• Strengthen employee engagement, accountability and organizational culture
• Ensure HR practices align with the company's professional and operational standards
• Provide management with actionable HR reports, insights and recommendations

Requirements
The Ideal Candidate:

• We are looking for an HR professional who combines strong technical HR knowledge with strong emotional intelligence.
• A deep familiarity with the construction industry will be an added advantage.

You should have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years' progressive HR experience, preferably within Construction, Engineering, Oil & Gas, Procurement or other project-driven environments
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment practices and HR administration
• Proven experience managing recruitment, employee relations and performance management
• Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures and organizational development
• Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR reporting
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and maintain confidentiality
• Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent will be an advantage
