Job Summary
- Our Client is seeking a skilled Chef de Parties to manage assigned kitchen sections and ensure consistent, high-quality food preparation and service.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for an assigned kitchen section.
- Prepare food according to approved recipes and standards.
- Ensure proper portioning, seasoning, presentation, and quality.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections during service.
- Supervise Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs assigned to the section.
- Complete daily mise en place and preparation requirements.
- Maintain proper food storage and stock rotation.
- Minimise food wastage.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
- Report equipment, stock, or operational issues to the Sous Chef
Requirements
- 2–4 years' experience in a professional kitchen.
- Proven experience managing a kitchen section.
- Good knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Culinary training or certification is an advantage.
