Commis Chef

Job Summary
- Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking "Commis Chef" to support its culinary team with food preparation and kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and basic cooking duties.
- Prepare vegetables, meats, sauces, garnishes, and other ingredients.
- Complete mise en place for assigned sections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas.
- Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs.
- Store food products correctly and practise FIFO stock rotation.
- Assist during service when required.
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1-2 years experience.
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage.
- Culinary training or certificate is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation.
- Good attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
