Technical Sales Engineer (Gas Turbine & Turbomachinery)

Job Summary
- A Technical Sales Engineer role focused on gas turbines and turbomachinery, based in Lagos, Nigeria.
- The position centres on selling and supporting rotating equipment and oil and gas equipment, working with customers through the full opportunity lifecycle from prospecting to contract award.
Responsibilities
- Develop and pursue sales opportunities for gas turbines, rotating equipment and oil and gas equipment such as multiphase pumps and compressors.
- Manage the full sales process from prospecting through tendering, negotiation and contract award.
- Build and maintain customer relationships across the upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas sector.
- Provide technical sales support and service input for turbomachinery and rotating equipment.
- Prepare and submit competitive tenders and proposals in collaboration with internal engineering and commercial teams.
- Deliver customer-focused technical solutions and aftermarket support that meet client specifications.
- Track pipeline activity, forecasts and market intelligence to inform sales strategy.
- Represent the company at industry events, client meetings and site visits.
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent discipline
- 5-10 years’ experience in Gas Turbines & Rotating Equipment sales and service role
- At least 3 years’ direct experience within the upstream, midstream or downstream oil and gas industry
- Proven record of developing opportunities from prospecting through tendering, negotiation and Experience in Oil and Gas equipment (Multiphase Pumps & Compressors) sales.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree
- Possession of COREN or NSE
- Experience with aftermarket sales and field service.
