General Manager - Business Operations & HR Lead

Job Summary
- We are looking for a commercially minded General Manager to lead company-wide business operations, drive revenue and departmental targets, protect client relationships and keep the business operating effectively with limited day-to-day CEO supervision.
- This is a whole-business leadership position requiring strong HR, recruitment and outsourcing industry expertise. The successful candidate oversees service delivery through the team ratherthan personally handling routine recruitment or HR services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Sales, Recruitment, HR Service Delivery, Client Services, Administration, Accounts and compliance operations.
- Drive verified revenue growth, collections, recruitment closures and departmental KPIs.
- Supervise team leads, review performance, own recovery strategies and ensure timely execution.
- Proactively protect client relationships, resolve escalations and minimise preventable loss of vacancies.
- Ensure HR policies, onboarding, employee relations, documentation and operational standards are properly implemented.
- Lead weekly performance reviews and report risks, achievements, owners and deadlines to the CEO.
- Run day-to-day operations independently within management-approved authority and controls.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
- At least 5–8 years' relevant progressive experience, including 2–3 years leading teams or business operations.
- Strong practical HR/recruitment, staffing or outsourcing background, alongside demonstrable commercial and operational leadership.
- Evidence of managing departmental targets, improving revenue or collections, leading client service and retaining business.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, KPI reporting, client management and execution skills.
- Ability to supervise the whole business when the CEO is away while knowing when to escalate material decisions.
Remuneration
- Salary: N350,000 gross monthly + performance-based incentives up to N100,000 monthly
- Total potential monthly earnings: N450,000, subject to verified performance.
