Direct Sales Agent

Overview
- FMR Agency is recruiting experienced and results-driven Direct Sales Agents to support customer acquisition and revenue growth within the digital payments sector.
- The successful candidates will be responsible for identifying, engaging, onboarding, and activating new business clients across high-density commercial areas in Lagos. This role is primarily field-based and requires proactive prospecting, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to consistently achieve sales targets.
- Candidates must have prior experience working with OPay, PalmPay, or Moniepoint, with a solid understanding of merchant acquisition and digital payment solutions.
- Ultimately, you will drive merchant acquisition, increase product adoption, and contribute directly to the company's revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential business clients (SMEs, retail stores, hospitality outlets, corporate clients, etc.) within assigned territories.
- Promote and sell digital payment solutions, including collections and payout services.
- Conduct product demonstrations and clearly communicate product features and benefits to prospective merchants.
- Support merchants through onboarding, KYC documentation, and account activation processes.
- Achieve assigned monthly merchant acquisition and activation targets.
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales activities using CRM tools or provided reporting platforms.
- Provide post-onboarding support to ensure customer retention and continued product usage.
- Gather and report market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor activities to the sales leadership team.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in any discipline.
- 2–3 years of direct sales experience within the FinTech industry.
- Previous experience working with OPay, PalmPay, or Moniepoint is mandatory.
- Proven experience in merchant acquisition, field sales, and customer onboarding.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Self-motivated, confident, and target-driven.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
- Good knowledge of the Lagos business landscape.
- Basic digital literacy, including proficiency in smartphone applications, WhatsApp, and CRM tools.
Salary
N200,000 – 250,000 monthly (Net) + Commission.
