NYSC Accounting Intern

Company: Gafford Property & Homes Location: Ojodu Berger Employment Type: NYSC (1-Year Service) Salary: ₦60,000 per month Job Summary Gafford Property & Homes is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly motivated NYSC Accounting Intern to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and be willing to learn while supporting the company's day-to-day financial operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical accounting experience in the real estate industry. Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
• Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
• Assist in processing payments and monitoring company expenses.
• Support bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Assist in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Support the management of client payments and financial records.
• Assist during internal and external audits.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently serving or about to commence the NYSC program.
• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of accounting software is an added advantage.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow professionally.
