Marketing Area Manager

Description
- The Marketing Area Manager is responsible for leading and supervising Medical Representatives within the assigned territory to achieve sales and collections objectives and market expansion.
- The successful candidate will drive business growth by developing sales strategies, strengthening customer relationships, coaching team members, and ensuring effective market coverage.
Responsibilties
- Supervise and manage Medical Representatives within the assigned territory.
- Drive the achievement of sales targets and business objectives.
- Develop and implement effective sales and territory management strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular field coaching and performance evaluations for Medical Representatives.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide strategic market intelligence.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales and market performance reports.
- Ensure proper implementation of promotional activities and marketing campaigns.
Requirements
Education:
- B.Sc Degree in any Science-related discipline.
Experience:
- 3–4 years’ experience as an Area Manager in a pharmaceutical company.
- Must have successfully supervised 5–6 Medical Representatives.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
Skills And Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and business development skills.
- Good knowledge of hospitals, doctors, pharmacists, and the pharmaceutical market.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
Key Attributes:
- Age not exceeding 42 years.
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
- Result-driven with excellent team management skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to work under pressure and travel extensively.
- Must know how to drive and possess a valid driver’s license.
