Job Summary

• The successful candidate will provide students with both theoretical and practical knowledge in Home Economics and related life skills..

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Home Economics lessons.
• Conduct practical activities where applicable.
• Develop students' knowledge of food, nutrition, clothing, home management, and related areas.
• Prepare students for examinations.
• Assess students' practical and theoretical performance.
• Maintain appropriate teaching and practical resources.

Requirements
Applicants for teaching positions should meet the following requirements: 

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Ed., B.Sc. /B.A. with PGDE) or NCE in the relevant field.
• TRCN registration or evidence of registration will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Sound knowledge of modern teaching methods and digital learning tools.
• A strong passion for child development and academic excellence.
• Good moral character and integrity.
• A strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
• Ability to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Commitment to the academic, personal, social, and character development of students.
• Relevant teaching experience will be an added advantage.
