Job title : Government Teacher

Job Summary 

• The successful candidate will teach Government and help students develop a sound understanding of governance, political systems, citizenship, and contemporary issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Government lessons.
• Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and informed analysis.
• Prepare students for relevant examinations.
• Set and mark assessments.
• Monitor students' academic progress.
• Maintain appropriate academic records.
• Encourage responsible citizenship and civic awareness.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Ed., B.Sc / B.A with PGDE) or NCE in the relevant field.
• TRCN registration or evidence of registration will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Sound knowledge of modern teaching methods and digital learning tools.
• A strong passion for child development and academic excellence.
• Good moral character and integrity.
• A strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
• Ability to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Commitment to the academic, personal, social, and character development of students.
• Relevant teaching experience will be an added advantage.
