The applicants must possess a minimum of a First Degree in relevant disciplines as follows:
- B.Ed., B.Sc. (Ed.), or B.A. (Ed.) from a recognized university.
- B.A. or B.Sc. from a recognized university with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
- Possession of a valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certificate / License is compulsory.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or Certificate of Exemption is required.
- Possession of SSCE / NECO / WASC / GCE O'Level with credits in at least five (5) subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings, is compulsory.
- Must have a minimum of 18 years of teaching experience.
- Possession of a Master's Degree in a relevant field of study will be an added advantage.
