About the Role

Avery Nigeria Limited is seeking a dynamic, results-driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our Sales and Marketing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing and selling the company's products and services, developing new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets.

Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in the sales of industrial machines, equipment, machinery, engineering products, or other technical products. The ideal candidate should be commercially minded, confident in dealing with customers, and capable of understanding and effectively presenting technical products and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Marketing and sales of the company’s products and services to potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person. 
• Demonstrating and presenting products services and establishing new business
• Maintaining accurate records
• Reviewing quarterly sales performance
• Negotiating contracts and packages
• Working towards monthly, quarterly or annual targets.
• Handling customer questions, inquiries, and complaints.
• Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/HND in Marketing, Business administration or any other related field
• Must not be more than 30 years of age
• Minimum of 2 years' proven experience in sales, preferably in the sale of industrial machines, equipment, machinery, engineering products or other technical products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Good understanding of the sales process, including prospecting, lead generation, quotation, negotiation, closing and after-sales relationship management.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Strong verbal and written communicator.
• Excellent phone and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excel.
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
