Production Manager - Plastic Manufacturing Industry

Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced, highly driven and results-oriented Production Manager to lead and manage our production operations.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing professional with strong leadership ability and proven experience in managing production teams, achieving production targets, improving efficiency and reducing operational losses.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for daily production activities.
- Develop and implement production plans to ensure targets are achieved efficiently.
- Supervise Production Superintendents, Supervisors and other production personnel.
- Monitor machine utilization, production output, downtime and operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement measures to reduce production losses, material wastage and unnecessary downtime.
- Work closely with the Maintenance, Quality Control, Stores and other relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines and production materials.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards and production policies.
- Prepare and review production reports and make informed recommendations to Management.
Requirements
- B.Sc. / HND in Engineering, Production Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in a senior production leadership or management position.
- Strong practical knowledge of manufacturing operations.
- Experience in plastic manufacturing, injection moulding and Hydraulics system Extruding blow moulding operations will be a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large production teams and achieve demanding production targets.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, planning and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
