Operations Financial Coordinator
Reports to: Operations Manager / Finance Lead
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented production accounting professional to maintain financial records for our production activities, track operational expenses and revenues, and support inventory valuation. This role is critical to ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across invoicing, payables, receivables, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Financial Tracking
- Maintain accurate financial records for all production activities.
- Monitor and report on operational expenses and revenues.
Invoice and Payment Processing
- Prepare and issue accurate invoices for produce sold.
- Process payments for inputs and ensure payment schedules are met.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Management
- Track customer payments and maintain up-to-date accounts receivable records.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment to suppliers and contractors.
Inventory Monitoring
- Value and monitor inventory to assess financial performance.
Bank Reconciliation and Financial Reporting
- Reconcile bank accounts regularly to ensure record accuracy.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial summaries for profitability analysis.
Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate financial recording for all operations.
- Maintain transparent documentation for internal and external audits.
- Assist in budget planning using past expenses and projected costs.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions on expansion and resource allocation.

Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel
- Familiarity with production operations and cost structures

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Problem-solving to resolve discrepancies efficiently
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years in production, agriculture, or inventory-related accounting
- Experience with inventory valuation methods (FIFO, average cost)
- Track record of meeting monthly closing deadlines
