1. Financial Record Keeping Record and maintain accurate accounting and financial records. Update ledgers, journals, and accounting systems. File and safeguard financial documents. 2. Customer Payment Administration Verify and record customer payments. Ensure all payments are made into approved company accounts. Issue and maintain records of receipts and payment confirmations. Monitor outstanding customer balances. 3. Accounts Receivable Management Track customer invoices and collections. Follow up on overdue payments. Prepare receivable aging reports. 4. Accounts Payable Management Process supplier and vendor payments upon approval. Verify supporting documents before payment. Maintain payment schedules and records. 5. Bank and Cash Reconciliation Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations. Investigate and report discrepancies. Monitor cash flow and account balances. 6. Financial Reporting Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports. Assist in preparing management reports and budgets. Support audit and compliance activities. 7. Payroll Support Assist in salary preparation and payroll documentation where applicable. 8. Internal Control and Compliance Ensure adherence to company financial policies. Report suspicious transactions or irregularities. Support fraud prevention and financial control measures.
