Digital Log Assistant & Data Analyst

Summary
- Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-conscious Digital Log Assistant & Data Analyst to digitize, verify, barcode, archive, and manage geological logs and technical documents, ensuring accurate records and efficient data retrieval.
Key Responsibilities
- Digitize sepia and transparent geological logs using NeuraLog professional log digitizing software.
- Scan, digitize, and store legacy paper logs and technical documents.
- Verify and conduct quality control checks on scanned and digitized logs before archiving or uploading them to the Esearch database.
- Professionally archive and index logs, technical reports, and documents for easy retrieval.
- Maintain consistent barcoding of logs, reports, and documents in line with established document archiving standards.
- Coordinate incoming correspondence and outgoing documents from the Manager's office.
- Ensure timely processing and dispatch of official documents.
- Maintain the accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of all technical data and records.
- Adhere to quality assurance, workplace safety, and document management procedures.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or HND in Sciences, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in log digitization and archiving.
- Practical experience digitizing geological logs, particularly sepia and transparent logs.
- Proficiency in NeuraLog or similar professional log digitizing software.
- Knowledge of scanning, indexing, barcoding, and digital document archiving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good command of English and effective report-writing skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
