Job Summary
- Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven General Manager to provide strategic leadership and oversee the overall operations of its polymer manufacturing business.
- The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience within the polymer industry, strong business acumen, and the ability to drive operational excellence, business growth, and organizational performance while fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to achieve the company's business objectives.
- Oversee daily operations across production, finance, sales, supply chain, and administration.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor organizational performance and ensure the achievement of key business targets.
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior management and departmental teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all business functions.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
- Identify business opportunities, manage risks, and support long-term sustainability of the organization.
- Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, innovation, and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related discipline.
- A master’s degree (MBA or related field) will be an added advantage.
- 10–15 years' experience as a General Manager within the polymer manufacturing industry.
- Excellent business acumen with proven commercial and financial management skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong work ethic with a focused, results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to lead organizational transformation and drive business growth.
