Job Description
- The Computer / ICT Teacher will deliver engaging lessons in technology and coding, equipping students with essential digital skills for the 21st century.
Job Duties
- Teach Computer lessons across assigned classes, balancing theory and practice.
- Design and deliver coding lessons using Scratch and other child-friendly platforms.
- Introduce students to basic programming, digital literacy, and problem-solving through technology.
- Support students in developing creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking using digital tools.
- Ensure proper use and care of ICT equipment, including classroom devices and software.
- Work with other teachers to integrate ICT into different subjects.
- Stay updated on new educational technologies and recommend tools that enhance learning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in ICT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Teaching certification and relevant classroom experience.
- Strong knowledge of Scratch and other children’s coding platforms.
- Ability to simplify complex ICT concepts for young learners.
- Passion for teaching and inspiring creativity through technology.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in educational technology.
Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / month.
