- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments.
- Prepare and process shipping and freight documentation.
- Liaise with transport providers, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth freight operations.
- Track shipments and provide regular status updates.
- Resolve delivery delays, shipment discrepancies, and logistics-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of freight transactions and delivery schedules.
- Monitor freight costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure efficient cargo handling.
- Prepare periodic reports on freight activities and performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND/Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in freight, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
