Experienced Hotel Waiter / Waitress

Job Summary

• We are seeking a professional, courteous, and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our hotel team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience, and maintaining high standards of hospitality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate them promptly to the kitchen.
• Serve meals and beverages efficiently and professionally.
• Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Process guest bills and handle payments accurately.
• Set up and clear tables before and after service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and hotel service standards at all times.
• Assist with banquet, conference, and special event services when required.
• Collaborate with kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Report guest complaints, incidents, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/OND or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Good personal grooming and professional appearance.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
