Animal Farm Supervisor

Roles and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supervising the day-to-day operations of the animal farm.
- Ensuring proper feeding, watering, and welfare of pigs, ruminants, and poultry birds.
- Monitoring animal health and promptly reporting disease outbreaks or abnormalities.
- Implementing farm sanitation, biosecurity, and hygiene measures.
- Supervising farm attendants and ensuring assigned tasks are properly executed.
- Maintaining accurate records of animal inventory, feed consumption, production, mortality, treatments, and sales.
- Coordinating vaccination, medication, and routine veterinary activities.
- Monitoring feed stock levels and reporting shortages promptly.
- Ensuring farm facilities, equipment, and housing units are properly maintained.
- Assisting management in achieving farm production and profitability targets.
- Providing regular reports on farm performance and challenges.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / NCE / OND qualification with 5 - 10 years experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage livestock independently.
- Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Ability to supervise workers effectively.
- Honest, responsible, hardworking, and committed to animal welfare.
- Must be willing and ready to reside on the farm premises.
