Chief Operating Officer

Responsibilities
Removal of Operational Blockages:

  • Ensure all operational issues are identified, properly reported, and escalated in a timely manner.
  • Establish simple and trusted channels through which staff may raise challenges without fear of reprisal.
  • Take ownership of operational issues through to resolution; escalation alone shall not constitute discharge of responsibility.

Staff Engagement and Workplace Culture:

  • Actively participate in staff communication groups and internal channels.
  • Monitor staff morale, discipline, engagement, and overall workplace culture.
  • dentify early signs of burnout, conflict, misconduct, or disengagement and proactively recommend corrective actions.

Staff Oversight and Payroll Control:

  • Maintain familiarity with staff members, their roles, and responsibilities.
  • Ensure staff effectively carry out their assigned duties.
  • Motivate, mentor, and support senior staff members.
  • Assume ultimate responsibility for the Company’s operational performance.
  • Maintain visibility over attendance, productivity, performance levels, and active workforce status.
  • Verify, validate, and approve payroll submissions based on accurate operational insight.

Remote Outlet Management:

  • Develop and maintain the capability to manage all outlets remotely using reports, performance data, visuals, and regular check-ins.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to daily operational standards across all outlets, including during periods of physical absence.
  • Support the development and execution of the Company’s strategic objectives in collaboration with the Board and Managing Director.

Requisitions and SOP Compliance:

  • Review and approve requisitions carefully to prevent waste, inefficiency, or abuse.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Any new or revised SOPs shall be reviewed and formally approved by the Managing Director prior to implementation.
  • Perform such other duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Group Managing Director from time to time.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications and be between 38 - 45 years of age.
