Social Media Manager

Job Summary

• We are seeking a creative, strategic, and results-driven Social Media Manager to manage, grow, and strengthen our brand’s presence across major social media platforms.
• The ideal candidate must have proven experience managing business or brand accounts with a large audience, preferably 1,000K+ followers, and should have a strong understanding of social media strategy, audience growth, engagement, content performance, and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage and grow the company’s social media accounts and online communities.
• Plan and maintain social media content calendars and posting schedules.
• Manage social media accounts with large audiences and high engagement volumes.
• Monitor social media trends, conversations, algorithms, and platform updates.
• Drive audience growth, engagement, reach, and overall brand visibility.
• Manage comments, direct messages, inquiries, and online communities professionally.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and growth initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze social media performance and prepare regular reports.
• Track competitors and identify opportunities to improve the brand’s social media positioning.
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, influencers, and creative teams to maintain consistent brand messaging.
• Identify opportunities to increase followers, engagement, conversions, and customer loyalty.
• Stay updated on emerging social media trends, tools, platforms, and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role.
• Must have experience managing a social media account or brand with 1,000K+ followers, or demonstrate significant experience managing large-scale social media communities.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and YouTube.
• Proven experience developing and executing successful social media strategies.
• Strong knowledge of social media analytics, insights, reporting, and performance measurement.
• Excellent communication, copywriting, and community management skills.
• Strong understanding of audience engagement and social media growth strategies.
• Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Canva, and social media analytics tools.
• Experience managing social media campaigns and promotions.
• Ability to manage multiple platforms, projects, and deadlines effectively.
• Strong creative thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with influencers or content creators is an added advantage.
• Candidates should have a portfolio or verifiable evidence of social media accounts they have successfully managed, particularly accounts with 1,000K+ followers

Preferred Candidate:

• The ideal candidate is someone who has successfully managed, grown, or overseen social media accounts with 1,000K+ followers** and can demonstrate measurable results in audience growth, engagement, reach, brand visibility, and conversions.

Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 Monthly.
