Job Description
- We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to join our team.
- As a Sales Officer, your primary role will be to acquire new merchants and generate revenue for our Transaction Finance company.
- You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with merchants.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new merchants and generate revenue
- Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential customers
- Negotiate contracts and terms with merchants
- Work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Product, and Operations, to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an added advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role.
- Experience in the transaction finance industry is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
